A right-angle 2mm steel bracket that holds two SB50 Anderson plugs side-by-side on one tidy mount. Puts the plug faces 90 degrees to the bracket base so cables route cleanly along the surface instead of pulling straight out. Fits tray edges, canopy walls, drawbar faces and chassis crossmembers wherever a dual SB50 pair needs a permanent home.

Pressed from 2mm mild steel with a yellow zinc plated finish for corrosion protection. The twin cutouts accept SB50, SB50RD and SB50BE housings; two outer holes take M6 bolts into the host surface. Overall footprint 80 by 49mm, 20mm tall from the base.

Fit the plug housings to the bracket before bolting the assembly down, otherwise the cable loom fights the housings on the way in. The zinc plating protects well on dry under-canopy mounts; for chassis-rail or trailer exposure, add stainless hardware and a clear topcoat to lift corrosion life.

Pairs with

  • 2mm steel body — holds its shape under cable load
  • Yellow zinc plated — corrosion protection for exposed mounts
  • Right-angle layout — cables exit parallel to the surface
  • Twin SB50 cutouts — fits SB50, SB50RD and SB50BE
  • Side-by-side spacing — keeps the pair tidy on one panel
  • Pressed one-piece — no welds to crack under vibration
  • Two M6 bolt holes — straight through-bolt mount
  • 80 × 49 × 20mm — small footprint on a canopy or tray

2mm steel bracket that mounts two SB50 Anderson plugs at right angle on a tray edge, canopy wall or chassis crossmember.
Suits any 12V, 24V or 36V vehicle wiring that uses SB50 Anderson plugs
Fits camper trailers, caravans, 4WDs, light trucks and workshop benches
Not suitable for SB120 or SB175 housings; they need their own bracket

Q: What does SB50 actually mean?
SB50 is the Anderson Power Products connector size rated to 50 amps continuous. The housing and pin set carry 50A at up to 600V DC. SB stands for small body in Anderson's lineup; the 50 is the amperage.

Q: Which Anderson housings fit this bracket?
SB50, SB50RD and SB50BE all share the same 50-amp housing shape, so all three drop into the cutouts. Larger SB120 and SB175 housings do not fit; they need their own brackets.

Q: Why mount dual plugs instead of a single one?
A dual mount keeps the wiring run on a tray or canopy tidy when two circuits need to come out side-by-side. Common pairing is one SB50 for a solar input and one SB50 for a 12V output, both landing on the same panel.

Q: Why right-angle instead of flat mount?
Right-angle puts the plug face 90 degrees to the bracket base so the cable exits parallel to the mounting surface rather than straight out. Keeps cables tucked along a wall or tray edge instead of hanging into the workspace.

Q: What is yellow zinc plating?
Yellow zinc is an electroplated zinc coating with a chromate conversion dip that leaves a yellow-gold finish. It gives mild steel corrosion protection better than clear zinc, roughly 96 to 200 hours in salt-spray testing before red rust shows.

Q: Will this hold up in a trailer or under a tray?
The zinc plating handles road splash and dry under-canopy use well. For permanent trailer, boat or chassis-rail mounts with regular salt exposure, add stainless hardware and a clear topcoat to extend corrosion life.

Q: What size bolts does the bracket take?
The two outer holes are sized for M6 fasteners. Use stainless or zinc-plated bolts with nyloc nuts, and add a dab of thread lock so road vibration cannot back the nuts off.

Q: Do the Anderson housings come with the bracket?
No. The bracket is the mount only; the SB50 housings and contacts are ordered separately. Pick the colour that suits each circuit (SB50 grey, SB50RD red, SB50BE blue).

Q: Can one plug be an input and the other an output?
Yes. Anderson housings are genderless so each plug can face either direction. Match the two housing colours or add a label if the circuits must not be swapped by someone connecting the wrong cable.

Q: Does the bracket need any trimming to fit the housings?
No. The two cutouts are pressed to the SB50 housing shape and the housings click in without filing. Slide them in from the back; the retention lugs keep them from backing out.
