Rubber grommets that seal cable and wire pass-throughs on firewalls, panels and fuse boxes, sold individually across eight sizes so the exact hole and cable diameter for the job is covered. Cushions the cable against the drilled edge and dampens vibration so the insulation does not chafe through over time. Fits automotive, marine, 4WD, agricultural and industrial panel work.

The rubber body seats into a drilled or punched panel hole and grips the edge with a lipped profile front and back. Sizes step through from 3.18mm inside diameter up to 15.9mm inside diameter, with the matching hole diameter listed alongside each option. Order one size at a time rather than buying a full assortment kit.

Drill to the H/D size listed for the grommet being fitted, not larger; an oversized hole loses the grip. Match the cable diameter to the I/D so the run sits snug through the grommet, not pinched and not loose. For a fully sealed cable entry into an engine bay or underbody, use a dedicated cable gland instead.

Size guide

Match the panel hole to the sizes below, then pick that option from the size selector above.

Q: What does "I/D" and "H/D" mean on the size list?
A: I/D is inside diameter, the size of cable or loom that fits through the grommet once it's in. H/D is hole diameter, the size hole you need to drill or punch in the panel for that grommet to seat into.

Q: How do I pick the right size?
A: Check the panel hole you're drilling (or already have) against the H/D column, then make sure your cable or loom is a snug fit through the matching I/D, not so tight it pinches the insulation, not so loose it rattles.

Q: What are these grommets used for?
A: Fitting into a drilled or punched hole in a firewall, fuse box or panel so a cable or wiring loom can pass through without rubbing on the bare metal edge.

Q: Will a grommet make the cable entry waterproof?
A: A correctly sized grommet is a snug mechanical fit that stops the cable chafing on bare metal, but it isn't a certified waterproof seal. For a fully sealed cable entry, engine bay, underbody, external, use a dedicated sealed cable gland instead.

Q: Can I reuse a grommet once it's fitted?
A: Yes, as long as it comes out undamaged when removed, press it back into a clean hole and it seats the same way.

Q: What's the difference between buying these individually and one of your grommet kits?
A: These are sold one size at a time, which works out cheaper if you only need one or two sizes for a specific job. If you're wiring a full install and want a spread of sizes on hand, a pre-sorted assortment kit works out better value per piece.

Q: Are these grommets suitable for engine bay or outdoor use?
A: Rubber handles sun, heat and moisture without going brittle the way some plastic bushes do over time, so it's a suitable material for engine bay and outdoor panel penetrations.

Q: My hole is between two of your listed sizes, what should I do?
A: Drill or punch to the nearest listed H/D size rather than an in-between size. A grommet relies on the hole matching its outer profile to seat and grip properly, an oversized hole won't hold it securely.

Q: Do these come with the cable or loom included?
A: No, this is the grommet only. Run your own cable or loom through it once it's fitted into the panel hole.

Q: What's the biggest cable bundle I can run through one grommet?
A: Match your cable or loom diameter to the inside diameter (I/D) of the size you pick, aim for a comfortable, unpinched fit rather than forcing the largest bundle through the smallest I/D that technically fits.
