A stainless steel bracket that mounts to the Toyota LC70 2.8L battery location and holds one Mega fuse holder plus two twin MIDI fuse holders behind the factory battery. Keeps the original battery in its stock position while adding fuse protection for alternator upgrades, DC-DC chargers, inverters and auxiliary circuits. Fits LandCruiser 76, 78 and 79 Series fitted with the 2.8L diesel from 09/2023 onwards.

Laser-cut and bent from stainless steel, 230 by 70 by 50mm, 0.5 kg. The pre-drilled hole pattern bolts to the existing 2.8L battery tray without modifying the vehicle. One Mega fuse holder cutout and two separate MIDI holder mounts keep each fuse circuit on its own fastener for serviceability.

The bracket is the mount only. The Mega fuse holder, MIDI brackets and twin MIDI fuse holders sell separately below. Size each fuse to the actual cable gauge it protects, not the load it feeds. A Mega fuse rated above the cable's capacity will burn the cable before the fuse opens.

Q: What does a battery fuse holder bracket actually do?
It's a stainless steel plate that bolts to the Toyota LC70 battery tray and gives you fixed mounting points for high-current fuse holders behind the factory battery. Instead of cable-tying fuse holders to a chassis rail or relying on cheap plastic clips, each fuse sits on its own bolt-down holder in a known location. If you're adding a DC-DC charger from the alternator, the Mega fuse goes on this bracket between the battery and the charger input.

Q: Does this fit my LandCruiser?
Yes if your vehicle is a 76, 78 or 79 Series LandCruiser with the 2.8L diesel from September 2023 onwards. No if you've got the 4.5L V8 diesel; that engine has a different battery tray layout and the bracket won't line up.

Q: What fits on the bracket?
One Mega fuse holder (sold separately) and two twin MIDI fuse holders (sold separately). The Mega sits in a cutout at one end; the two MIDI brackets bolt alongside. All three fuse circuits are independent and serviceable without pulling the main bracket.

Q: Do the fuses or fuse holders come with it?
No. The bracket is the mount only. The Mega holder, MIDI brackets and twin MIDI holders are listed as pairs-with items on this page so you can match the amperage of each circuit to its own cable gauge and continuous draw.

Q: Why would I need three separate fuse holders instead of one big one?
High-current accessory wiring needs a fuse within 100mm of the battery positive terminal. Each circuit (DC-DC charger input, inverter feed, auxiliary battery link, high-draw accessory) is sized differently, so rolling multiple feeds through one fuse means a nuisance trip on one accessory kills them all. Separate holders also make trouble-shooting a blown fuse a thirty-second job instead of a wiring hunt.

Q: Do I need to modify the vehicle to fit it?
No. The bracket uses the existing battery-tray hole pattern on the 2.8L chassis. No drilling and no cutting.

Q: What size Mega fuse should I use?
Match the fuse to the cable it protects, not to the load at the far end. A rule of thumb: 2 B&S cable sits with a 150A fuse maximum, 0 B&S cable with 200A, 4 B&S cable with 100A. Oversize the fuse and the cable will burn before the fuse opens.

Q: Can I run this with a lithium second battery setup?
Yes. The bracket is agnostic to battery chemistry; it holds the fuses that protect the cable between batteries. The factory starter battery stays in its stock position on this bracket; the lithium second battery lives wherever your build puts it (dual-battery tray, cargo-area canopy, under-seat enclosure).

Q: How is it made?
Laser-cut and bent from stainless steel then powder-coated. In-house fabrication at the Elevate Automotive workshop in Perth. 230 by 70 by 50mm, 0.5 kg.

Q: What warranty is on the bracket?
12-month Elevate Automotive warranty against manufacturing defects.
