Off-Grid 12V & 24V Power Systems in Perth

A working off-grid system charges the auxiliary battery from the alternator while you drive, tops it up from solar when you stop, and keeps the loads separated from the crank battery so you never wake up to a flat vehicle. Everything on this page is the hardware that makes that loop reliable — the DC-DC charger, the isolator, the shunt, the distribution hub and the inverter that runs the 240V side.

Start from the loads. A 40L fridge, LED lights and a phone charger sit around 40-60Ah a day and want a 100-120Ah lithium bank fed by a 25A DC-DC. Add a 2000W inverter running a kettle or induction cooktop and you're looking at 200-300Ah of lithium and a 40-50A charger. Full canopy and caravan builds with air-con go bigger again — send us the load list and we'll size it properly.

A 40A DC-DC charger pulls 40A continuously from the alternator, on top of the vehicle's normal load.
